In 2015, a wanna-be farmer named Ashley crossed paths with a chef named Joe. She was passionate about growing and gathering, he was passionate about cooking and creating. Together, they fell in love… not just with each other, but with the idea of building something that blended their talents, their values, and their love for bringing people together.

From the very beginning, our mission has been simple. Serve food that feels good, tastes unforgettable, and comes from a place of care. We believe that the best meals start with the best ingredients, which is why we work with local farmers, makers, and producers across the Willamette Valley. Every dish is made from scratch, every menu is thoughtfully crafted, and every event is handled with the same attention and heart as if it were our own celebration.
The Hive has grown into a full-service catering company serving weddings, rehearsals, holiday gatherings, corporate events, and nonprofit celebrations. Whether we are cooking onsite at a private residence or at one of the region’s most beautiful venues, our goal is always the same… to create meals and moments that linger long after the plates are cleared.
